Nate Gotgotao-Washington scored 24 points to lead the Elliot Christian boys basketball team to a 77-31 rout of Stone Ridge Christian, along with double-doubles from Alexander Pinasco (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Joshua Alejandre (12 points, 11 rebounds).

Roy Itovichi had 19 points and six boards, Mason Jones had three points, Ryan Ehresman had two points and six rebounds, Peyton Yarbrough had two points and John Wuest had one point.


Junior varsity

Lincoln 1, Lodi 0

Kaitlyn Nicholsky and Haylee GOnzalez combined for nine saves in Thursday’s loss, which dropped the Flames to 1-6-3 in the TCAL.

Ava Acevedo and Layla Ayala played well on defense, and Frida Rodriguez played well in the midfield and on the attack.



El Dorado 58, Galt 28

Jessica McAllister, along with Galt teammates Haley Sanchez, Mizan Johnson and Raina Saldivar had four points each in Wednesday’s Sierra Valley Conference road finale in Placerville.

Madison Petersen and Kaya Weaver each had three points and Yuina Okubo, Karina Aguilar and Darla Sapp each had two points for Galt (1-9 in the SVC, 10-16), which saw El Dorado jump out to a 13-2 lead after the first quarter and led 29-9 at halftime.

Lodi 28, Tokay 24

Jenny Corona led the Tigers with nine points, along with seven from Amara Charles, three from Angela Varela and two each from Ahmiene El-Kheidi and Karen Nateras.

El Dorado 66, Galt 29

Norma Mez and Emily McCalla had nine points each for Galt (2-6 in the SVC, 11-13) in Wednesday’s SVC finale. Nevaeh Pate had three points for the Warriors and teammates Briannah Pena, Sarah Reece, Alondra Hernandez and Marcela Game each had two points.
