The Lodi High boys soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision on the road at Lincoln on Monday, sending the Trojans ahead of the Flames for second place in the Tri-City Athletic League.

Lodi (4-3-2 in the TCAL) will play at West (2-4-3) on Wednesday to finish out the regular season.

Julian Lopez had seven saves in Monday’s game, while Jesus Saldana, Edgar Lopez and Yubano Osorio played well for the Flames.

Lodi 1, Lincoln 1

Jake Vargas scored for the Flames off a Robert Herrera assist, while Matt Phillips had eight saves. Jaime Garcia, D.J. Van Ness, Anthony Vargas and Max Niemo played well for Lodi.

On Friday, Lodi beat Tracy 1-0 in wet conditions, with an Eric Spangler goal and an Eldiberto Perez assist. Phillips had nine saves, while Gonzalo Ordinol, Vargas, Mateo Charles and Adrian Villalobos played well.

Yuina Okubo led the Warriors with 12 points in Friday’s loss, along with 11 from Kaya Weaver, seven from Raina Saldivar, five from Haley Sanchez, three from Mizan Johnson, two from Darla Sapp and one from Hannah Aguirre.
