Lodi Chapter No. 150, Order of the Eastern Star, was proud to honor three members at an awards luncheon on Sunday, March 8 held at the Lodi Masonic Center at 315 West Pine Street in Downtown Lodi. Mary Ellen Dunbar was presented with a pin and certificate celebrating 75 years of membership and service to the organization.

Joycelyn Simonet and Shirley Pearce (in absentia) received pins, certificates, and a lifetime membership in the Chapter. Chairpersons Irmgard Fowler and Vera Nowlin received high praise for the event that welcomed nearly 100 participants including many 50-plus year members of the order and friends and family of the honorees.

The Order of the Eastern Star is the largest fraternal Order in the world that admits both men and women to membership. We join with our Masonic brethren helping our communities, enjoying fellowship in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust, and promoting Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.
