On June 4th, Lodi Lodge No. 256, Free and Accepted Masons, honored Caitlin Paulson as the recipient of the 2015 Henry and Karen Hansen Memorial Scholarship award and presented her with a $1,000 check to assist her with her post high school educational goals. Paulson has already been accepted at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she plans to major in Anthropology. Paulson has just completed her senior year at Jim Elliot Christian High School.
During her time at the school, she was on the honor roll for four consecutive years with over a 4.0 grade-point average. Paulsen was active in school activities as a cheerleader, assisted with the school newspaper and year book and in the community by logging over 3,000 hours in community service with the United Way, Salvation Army, and as a youth sports coach. She has also been active in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls where she served as the Worthy Advisor of Cloud 7 Assembly for three terms, received the coveted Grand Cross of Color award, and was appointed to serve as a state level officer, Grand Hope, during 2014.
Paulson is the daughter of Katie Watters and John and Renee Paulson and granddaughter of Buck and Jan Watters of Lodi.
