The Lodi City Council discussed potential multi-million dollar safety upgrades to the southbound Highway 99 off-ramp at Turner Road to the Highway 99 southbound on-ramp at Cherokee Lane and Pioneer Drive during Tuesday’s shirtsleeve session.

The effort comes after funds became available from Senate Bill 1, which is the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. The bill invests $54 billion over the next decade to fix roads, freeways and bridges in communities across California.
