LODI — Vienna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is the first facility in the state of California to be awarded the gold level of excellence for quality of care, as determined by the Health Services Advisory Group.
Facilities eligible for the gold recognition must have a composite score of 6 percent or below. The composite score is based off of 13 measurable variables (such as number of falls, reported pain, depressive symptoms, etc.) that represent the facility’s care setting.
Vienna has a composite score of 3.5 percent, joining less than 10 percent of long term care facilities in the nation.
The honor will be awarded at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
