Jonathan McComb and April Van Zant were married at Morris Chapel

April Van Zant and Jonathan McComb were married in June at Morris Chapel.

Jonathan McComb and April Van Zant, both of Lodi, were married in June.

McComb graduated from Lodi High School in 1999. He is employed by OmniCare Pharmacy. He is the son of Dennis and Cheryl McComb, of Woodbridge.

Van Zant graduated from Lodi High School in 1999 and then from California State University, Sacramento in 2005. She is employed as a pharmaceutical sales rep. She is the daughter of Jene and Debra Van Zant, of Lodi.

The couple was married on June 21 at Morris Chapel at the University of the Pacific. The reception was held at Hutchins Street Square.

The bride wore a custom made gown by Jinza Couture Bridal. It was a strapless, fit-to-flare design made of lace, organza and satin with a jeweled belt. She also wore a cathedral-length veil. She carried a bouquet of callalilies, roses, freesia and orchids in shades of plum and ivory.

The best man was Ryan Peters, of Burlingame, best friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Jason McComb, of Lodi, brother of the groom; Jene Van Zant, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., brother of the bride; Mike Foucher, of Lodi, friend of the groom and Juan Gonzales, of Lodi, friend of the groom.

The matron of honor was Alycia Green, of Tucson, Ariz., best friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jasmine Riggins, of Lodi, friend of the bride; Lyndsay George, of Lodi, friend of the bride; Coree Foucher, of Lodi friend of the bride; Julie Van Zant, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J. sister-in-law of the bride; and Giselle Allard, of Laguna Niguel, cousin of the bride.

The ring bearers were Conner Van Zant and Alex Van Zant, nephews of the bride; and Shane McComb, nephew of the groom.

The guest book attendant was Kelly Cardinalli.

Special guests included Ray Pomada, of Reno, Nev., grandfather of the bride; Lou Montgomery, of San Andreas, grandmother of the groom; and Mary McComb, of Lodi, grandmother of the groom.

The two spent their honeymoon at St. Lucia at the Sandals La Toc. They have made their home in Lodi.
