Year Round

First Friday Art Hop


On the first Friday of each month, visit local businesses and art galleries in Downtown Lodi to enjoy art, hors d’oeuvres, wine and conversation.

Lodi Wine Strolls


Every spring and fall, wine enthusiasts take to the streets of Downtown to stroll through the boutiques and shops and taste great wines. Each wine stroll has its own theme, with the fall wine stroll typically adopting Halloween festivities, while the spring wine stroll varies.

Lodi Street Faire


This biannual event brings thousands to the streets of Downtown to shop at more than 500 vendors selling antiques, arts and crafts, commercial items and lots of delicious food. The Street Faire returns each May and October.

Food Truck Mania

Food trucks selling delicacies from gyros, tacos and pad thai to bacon-themed everything descend on Hutchins Street Square on the fourth Sunday of every month. A similar event is held in Old Town Galt on the first Saturday of every month.


Cruise Nights at A&W Root Beer


Thursdays: Visit the very first A&W Root Beer on during the summer for cruise nights where locals bring their classic cars and hot rods in a mini-show in the parking lot. The End of Season Car Show ends the cruise night season with a bang in October, blocking off part of Lodi Avenue.

Downtown Lodi Farmers Market


Thursdays: Throughout the summer, locals enjoy the return of the Downtown Lodi Farmers Market every summer. Vendors selling local produce, flowers and other products line School Street starting in the afternoon and into the evening.


Lodi CycleFest and 5K


Sunday, June 5, 2016: Hundreds of cycling competitors race around Downtown Lodi at high speeds in this free event for spectators. Hosted by Michael David Winery and its cycling team.

Lodi Craft Brew Festival


Saturday, June 18, 2016: Hosted by the Lodi Tokay Rotary Club, the second annual Lodi Craft Beer Festival brings more than 50 brewers from Northern California to share more than 100 varieties of beer to taste at Lodi Lake Park.

Cajun and Blues Festival


Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26, 2016: Enjoy a family-friendly weekend of Zydeco, Cajun and Blues music as well as Bayou cuisine including fresh crawfish. Located just outside of Lodi along Highway 12, the festival returns to E2 Family Winery.

Obon Bazaar


Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26, 2016: Lodi’s Japanese American community celebrates their annual Obon Bazaar with Japanese tradition dancing, food and special performances. This summer festival is held at the Buddhist Church of Lodi.


Lodi Blues and Brews Festival


Lodi loves the blues during the summer, so celebrate with a cold class of craft beer and listen to several live bands at this festival at Hutchins Street Square.


Lodi Field and Fair Day


Monday, Sept. 5, 2016: A Labor Day Lodi tradition, Lodians send off a large hot-air balloon from Hutchins Street Square early in the morning and spend the rest of the day enjoying a pancake breakfast and other activities for the whole family.

Lodi Grape Festival


Thursday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016: One of Lodi’s oldest festivals, celebrating the grape harvest, the Lodi Grape Festival brings carnival rides and games, food, exhibitions of art and grape murals and of course, wine tasting.


Lodi Oktoberfest


You’ll come for the beer and German-Dakota dishes and stay for the German band and Oktoberfest games at this festival.


Sandhill Crane Festival


Friday, Nov. 4 to Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016: Watch one of nature’s spectacles as hundreds of sandhill cranes make their migratory return to the Delta’s rich wetlands. The festival is held in November with registration and tours beginning at Hutchins Street Square.


Parade of Lights

Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016: The annual Parade of Lights is a Lodi tradition filling the streets of Downtown on the first Thursday of December with colorful floats decorated with lights. As per tradition, the parade always begin at 6:17 p.m.

Festival of Trees


Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016: Enjoy more than 60 uniquely decorated Christmas trees at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum in Micke Grove Park. Partake in pioneer-related activities and entertainment for this old-fashioned Christmas celebration.

Zoo Lights


Throughout December: Celebrate the wonder of the holidays at Micke Grove Zoo. The zoo will open up after dark with lots of beautiful holiday lights among the animal enclosures and activities, games and crafts for the family.


Lodi Home and Garden Show


Friday, Jan. 20 to Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017: Homeowners interested in learning about home improvement can pick up a few tips and talk to vendors at the annual Lodi Home and Garden Show at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds every January.


Wine and Chocolate Weekend


Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017: Spend a weekend enjoying all that Lodi wines have to offer, along with delicious chocolate pairings, at this popular wine-tasting event at more than 50 local wineries and tasting rooms.


Spring Art Show


One of the largest, free, juried art shows in Northern California, the Lodi Community Art Center’s Spring Art show brings local talent hoping to take first place in the show. Art is displayed in the Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Winery every April.

Lodi Lake Paddlefest


Hosted by Headwaters Kayak Shop, Lodi Lake fills with kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and canoes in this newer festival that lets the public enjoy boating on the lake, live music and other fun activities.

Lodi Beer Festival


Held at the Grape Festival Grounds, the Lodi Beer Festival brings together more than 30 breweries, which provide several beers for tasting, food and entertainment.

Lodi Wine and Food Festival

Saturday, April 1, 2017: Formerly known as the Spring Wine Show, the Lodi Wine and Food Festival features wine tasting and a bounty of food from several local restaurants and caterers as well as wine pairing, olive oil tasting and music. It is held at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds.




Lodi celebrates its popular Zinfandels with ZinFest every May, a large festival of wine, live music and the Vintner’s Regatta competition — where winemakers make boats out of wine barrels and take them out onto the lake for a race.

Festa Italiana


Come celebrate everything Italian, with local Italian food and performances. Also visit Il Mercato where you can purchase pottery, jewelry, clothing and handmade goods. The Festa is held at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds.
