The City of Lodi hereby invites sealed proposals for Uniform Rental Services 2021-2023, City of Lodi. The specifications are available at the website.

Sealed proposals, clearly marked "Proposal, Uniform Rental Services" shall be delivered to the Purchasing Officer, Lodi Finance Department, 310 West Elm Street, Lodi, California, 95240, until

11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

The bidder is fully responsible for their proposals being delivered on time, and is encouraged to either deliver the proposal in person or utilize a delivery service that tracks and documents the delivery. Immediately after the time specified above, the proposals will be publicly opened at City Hall, 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, California, for performing the following described work.

The proposal is to furnish, launder and deliver the uniforms, rags, floor mats, and related items described in the specifications. Included in services are weekly deliveries made to the Municipal Service Center at 1331 South Ham Lane; Facility Services Office at 221 West Pine Street; Parks and Recreation Department at 125 North Stockton Street; Community Center at 125 South Hutchins Street, White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility at 12751 North Thornton Road, and Surface Water Treatment Plant at 2001 West Turner Road, Lodi.

The City of Lodi hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.

For any monies earned by the Contractor and withheld by the City of Lodi to ensure the performance of the contract, the Contractor may, at Contractor's request and expense, substitute securities equivalent to the amount withheld in the form and manner and subject to the conditions provided in Chapter 13 (commencing with Section 4590), Division 5, Title 1 of the Government Code of the State of California.

No bid will be considered unless it is submitted on a proposal form furnished by the City of Lodi.

The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid, to accept other than the lowest bid, or not to award the bid.

Reference is hereby made to said specifications for further details, which specifications and this notice shall be considered part of any contract made pursuant thereto.
