With its wide range of activities for young and old, Lodi is the perfect destination for all members of the family.

Lodi has 50 local wineries, and visitors can spend an afternoon tasting wines at over 30 tasting rooms. For those who prefer outdoor activities, Lodi Lake is perfect for fishing, swimming, boating, hiking trails and nature viewing.

If you are looking for attractions that will entertain the children, be sure to visit Micke Grove Zoo -- which sits on five acres of land. Visitors can also take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Japanese gardens, visit the San Joaquin Historical Museum or get wild at the Funderwoods Amusement Park. When you get hungry from all of the non-stop action, take a break and sit at one of the many picnic tables for lunch.

If you enjoy a good game of golf, Lodi is the place to go for a hole in one. There are many public golf courses in the City of Lodi and surrounding areas. Each course offers a different challenge, and golf lovers can pr4actice their putting to challenging friends to a full game.

There are plenty of parks and preserves to visit, including 13 neighborhood parks, three specialty parks and one regional park in the City of Lodi. A majority of the parks include baseball fields, basketball courts and washrooms.

With all these activities plus historic tours, a parachute center and a historic downtown for shopping -- Lodi has something that everyone will enjoy. Beyond these attractions, look into Veteran's Plaza adjacent to City Hall and take a ride to the Serpentarium.
