Create a more comfortable work space

When warm weather has you longing to spend your afternoons outdoors rather than at meetings in the conference room, it's time to freshen up your work space. You'll be both more focused and more comfortable, and your boss will appreciate your refreshed attitude.

There are some simple ways to create this comfortable environment.

Get organized. An organized desk declutters the mind and destresses the body. And with organization comes speed, which leads to getting into the sunshine sooner.

Sit right. A new chair can sometimes create a new outlook. The right "fit" of your chair can decrease tension and even body aches, which leads to a much more comfortable you.

Breathe deeply. A little more oxygen in the room can make a world of difference. Adding a brightly colored plant that gives off oxygen will also help you bring the outdoors in.

Stay cool. Sometimes office temperatures can be difficult to control. Keeping a small desk fan running can help you stay cool under pressure.

With all that organizing, you're bound to find a couple of small spots to put a plant and a fan. An ideal choice for your fan is the all-new Lasko(R) Desktop Wind Tower(R). It has dual-pivoting modules for air flow in two directions simultaneously, plus an oscillation feature for steady, full-office circulation. It takes up less than six square inches of desk space and can be positioned to avoid sending the report for the big meeting flying around the room.

With organization, ergonomics, plants and air circulation, it is possible for your office space to be comfortable and leave you feeling refreshed.
