Microtel Inn & Suites, 6428 W. Banner, near Interstate 5, 367-9700.
The hotel has continental breakfast, pool, conference rooms, cable TV and data ports. Rooms range from $69 to $89 for suites.

Rainbow Motel, 607 S. Cherokee Lane, 368-2707.
Managers Sunny and Sue Patel try to make a visitor’s stay feel like it is a “home away from home.” Rooms run from $45 to $55.
