However, when the Tokay Tigers senior libero from Italy stepped on the volleyball court, she was at home — her skills clear to everyone and the respect and admiration of her game universal.

Opposing defenses often knew what was coming, but it was tough to stop anyway. Kirstin Kielhold to Kaitlin Drake was a winning combination all year long for Lodi High's volleyball team — Kielhold lofting the ball up to her senior teammate, who delivered punishing kills on the outside.
