It was the stunt heard ’round the world: Last Wednesday, as Google co-founder Sergey Brin prepared to promote his latest pet project, a team of Lodi-based skydivers leapt from a zeppelin hovering over San Francisco’s Moscone Center, landed on the roof and hand-delivered to Brin a pair of Google’s “Project Glass” computing glasses — all while connected in real-time to the Internet so those below could see the action from the divers’ perspective.

When my wife and I go out of town, I wake up early. I normally wake up around one in the afternoon, but for weekend out-of town trips, I get up around eleven. When I am forced by circumstance to wake up early, I am grumpy, clumsy and forgetful. I fumble around the house getting my toiletries into little bags and do my best not to wrinkle my clothes as I stuff them into an overnight bag.

The rise hasn't been slow.
Instead, the Lodi Cycle Fest is gaining momentum and popularity
nearly as fast as the cyclists who hit 40 miles per hour pedaling
through the Downtown Lodi criterium course.
Since its inaugural running in 2009, the Lodi Cycle Fest has
taken off and will be back for its third installment on Sunday.

The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team and its
relentless winning ways is a greatness that measures beyond great.

filled with the comforting smell of baking, fills with warmth as
