The Tokay 1913 is a paperbound Lodi Union High School yearbook, about the size of a small town's thin telephone book. It's a glimpse into the past a century ago when student life was much like it is today and yet so different.

(BPT) - While children long for the lazy carefree days of summer, many adults view the season as a reason to be active and get healthy. Whether it's to look good for an upcoming beach vacation or simply to have the energy to enjoy the season to the fullest, setting health goals is a great first step.

They had competed against one another during practices, but Tokay juniors Albert Lee and Johnny Morales weren’t too used to playing side-by-side in a doubles match.

The Woodbridge Junior tennis team held a club match last weekend, and Maya Hastings took first in the 18-and-under girls division. In 12-and-under play, Hana Mulbarger was first and Maddie Wells was second.

The Lodi Flames boys tennis team suffered a 6-3 loss to the visiting Rocklin Thunder in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I tournament on Monday at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club.

The Tokay Tigers tandem was terrific. Tokay’s doubles duo of Johnny Morales and Albert Lee took home the Tri-City Athletic League doubles championship on Friday, defeating Andy Lin and Simon Marks of St. Mary’s in straight sets, 6-1 6-3 at West Lane Tennis Club in Stockton.

It was the final Jake Neal expected: A 1-2 showdown against Michael Pinkerton of the Lincoln Trojans to decide the San Joaquin Athletic Association singles championship.

Jacob Neal already has a doubles championship on his resume. Now, he's looking to go solo. The Lodi High School junior advanced to today's San Joaquin Athletic Association singles final with three victories on Thursday at the Marina Tennis Club in Stockton.
