B. Reese Elementary School, were honored Monday night as the
Classroom Heroes of 2009 at the Lodi Community Band concert at
Hutchins Street Square.

Growing up in a small town in Georgia, Susan Hitchcock was
outdoors all the time. With her two brothers and sister, she said
she made rafts, climbed trees, swung on vines and stayed out until
the sun went down.
