A suspected burglar is in custody after police say he led authorities on a high-speed pursuit early Monday morning.

Two women were arrested over the weekend for stealing nearly $150 worth of beer from local grocery stores and attempting to take even more, police said.

Recently there've been a few letters to the editor about shooting someone over stealing a case of beer.
