With the help of some enraged teenagers, a Lodi man was arrested
for allegedly raping a juvenile in the bathroom of Kofu Park on
Donald Mack Bush, 26, was arrested after he reportedly lured a
13-year-old girl into a bathroom at the park and had sex with her,
police said. He was apprehended after skaters at the park witnessed
the act, stood up to Bush and chased him to Lodi Memorial Hospital,
said Officer Shad Canestrino.

A man was airlifted to an area hospital Sunday evening after
being shot near an apartment complex on the 600 block of Wimbledon
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. and is likely
gang-related, said Officer Shad Canestrino of the Lodi Police
As officers were questioning witnesses near the apartment
complex and on the 2200 block of Scarborough Drive, another
emergency call drew several units to a scene almost three miles
Officers believe a man was assaulted near the intersection of
Garfield Street and Lodi Avenue around 9:40 p.m. There was also a
report of a shot fired in the area, Canestrino said.

A 25-year-old woman was airlifted to an area hospital after
being struck by a vehicle while cycling shortly after 5 p.m.
