The Lodi Historical Society will hold its monthly program on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Senior Center at Hutchins Street Square. The speaker will be Toni Christman, Lodi native and author of “Our Time To Shine,” a book about the history of Lodi. Books will be available for purchase. Everyone is invited and refreshments will be served.

Diede Construction Inc. has proposed building an ambitious $30 million resort and spa along Armstrong Road and Highway 99 on land it now owns.
