Mark Chandler was inducted into the San Joaquin County
Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2007. Chandler, the executive director
of the Lodi Winegrape Commission, has announced his resignation
after 20 years of service.

Mark Armstrong feels it is important to support agriculture,
because it is what drives the economy. San Joaquin County is
crucial to the agricultural production of the United States, and
without it, he said, our area is dead. In support of local
agriculture, he has served as manager of the Lodi Grape Festival
for the past 19 years.

Michael Stokes was born and raised in the farming business. A
third-generation agri-businessman, Stokes began farming at the age
of 18 when he worked for his parents. He and his brother, Bill,
then ventured out on their own.

Commerce's Outstanding Citizens of the Year for 2010. The couple
was selected by a committee of previous winners for their volunteer

Frank Faria, Donald Everett McKenzie, Bruno Paul Marchini, and
Robert O. Schulz will be inducted into the San Joaquin County
Agricultural Hall of Fame at an awards ceremony later this month.
John Demichelis will receive a posthumous induction to the hall of
fame as well.

As a 30-year member of the Greater Kiwanis of Lodi, Keith Land
has always believed in the Kiwanis mission — a group of volunteers
dedicated to helping the world, one child and community at a time.
His membership in the club helped him learn how to volunteer his
time to the community. Since then he has volunteered, starting with
youths and ending with senior citizens.
