A Lodi man who aimed a laser at a helicopter in May is now on probation after paying a fine and serving some jail time.
Charles Brill, 52, spent three days in jail after he pointed a green laser beam at a California Highway Patrol aircraft. At the time, Brill said he meant no harm, and only liked to see the sparkle of the laser on the metal of the aircraft.
