The "Esteem Team" of speakers Barbara Barrington Jones, Brad Wilcox and Kenneth Cope will be in Lodi presenting three fireside sessions and a youth conference during Mother's Day weekend. The programs are hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All events will be free of charge and open to the public.

At least 300 pieces of art will be on display at the Lodi Community Art Center’s 53rd Spring Art Show, which will take place at Robert Mondavi Winery on April 20 and 21. All pieces entered into this juried art show will be available for sale.

Running now through the end of February, the first-ever photography show is taking over the walls of the Lodi Community Art Center. Photographer Barbara Gillespie shares a little about chairing the contest and celebrating photography in Lodi.

Soroptimist International of Lodi hosted a group of women from Hope Harbor Shelter for Women and Children at the annual Christmas party in December. The women had lunch at the Round Table Pizza parlor in Lodi. There were approximately 30 ladies in attendance. Each woman was presented a gift bag from Santa.

Health education classes
Lodi Health is offering the following classes:
- A breastfeeding class will be held on Feb. 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The free, one-session class covers the advantages of breastfeeding, basic anatomy, the breastfeeding process and common problems and solutions.
- A free childbirth preparation class will be held on Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
