Khan Afsar, president of the Lodi Muslim Mosque, said that
Muslims in Lodi began fasting at 4:46 a.m. on Thursday for Ramadan.
Muslims could begin eating and drinking at 8:08 p.m. that day,
though the time each day will change slightly due to the moon’s
position, Afsar said.

life, etc. is worthy of my respect and tolerance, even though I may
disagree with the tenants of that religion.
