    East Acampo Road house fire — no injuries

    A door is ablaze outside of the site of a house fire in the 3000 block of East Acampo Road in Acampo on Friday, March 4, 2011. The door, which was smoldering for more than 20 minutes before igniting, was quickly extinguished by Woodbridge firefighters. According to Capt. Mike Jennings with Woodbridge Fire, firefighters received the emergency call at 12:24 p.m. and had the fire under control 40 minutes later. No one was injured, Jennings said, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Dominguez is replacing Jeffery Jennings, who has been with the district for 35 years, and comes to Galt from the K-8 Placer Hills Union School District in Meadow Hills, where he has worked as superintendent since 2003.
