    Tuesday, July 31, 2012 12:00 am

  25. Beautiful bike weekend

    Contributed

Marty Weybret, left, and Dr. Tom Shock of Lodi spent three great days pedaling from Carmel to Paso Robles July 13-15. We camped the first night at Fernwood Resort in Big Sur, which was full of families enjoying the redwoods and the nearby beaches. The second night we spent with Marty's friends Patty & Mike Griffin of Cambria. Auto traffic was on Highway 1 was steady but polite. This photo was taken before heading out from Cambria for a leisurely climb on Highway 46 to Paso Robles, we picked up a car we'd left there Friday and drove back to Carmel.
