Suspended students at Lodi and Tokay high schools may serve their time on campus away from other students if a pilot program at Bear Creek and McNair high schools is successful.

Lodi Unified School District officials will consider establishing a pilot program at McNair and Bear Creek high schools where students would serve their suspensions on campus rather than staying away from school, as long as they don’t pose any danger.

On May 14, I attended a Lodi Unified School District board meeting dealing with the implementation of Common Core state standards. I found out that our school board does not care what Common Core is going to do to education.
