The Delta: On the Sacramento River, striper anglers have been catching fish up to 12 pounds in Isleton up to the Isleton Bridge, using Rebels and deep-diving Yozuris. They are also trolling shallow-diving Yozuris and P-Line Angry Eyes on the West Bank.

The Delta: Winds have been a big factor for the fishermen these past few weeks on the Sacramento River, but when the anglers are out, they are trolling around the Rio Vista Bridge up to the Isleton Bridge. Most fish are running 4-8 pounds with an occasional fish in the teens. The best lures have been Yozuris, Rebels, Bombers, P-Line Angry Eyes and Predators.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, striper trolling has slowed down a bit, but fish are still being caught in the areas of Isleton to Walnut Grove, Cache Slough up in the shipping channel and West Bank. Anglers are using shallow runners, working close to shore. For deep-diving lures, use Rebels, Predators and Yozuris. For shallow running, use Yozuris, P-Line Angry Eyes, Rebels, and Bombers.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, striper trollers are fishing areas of Isleton to Walnut Grove, Cache Slough up in the shipping channel and West Bank, using Rebels, Bombers, P-Line Angry Eyes, P-Line Predators and shallow-running Yozuris. Most fish are 9 pounds with an occasional fish in the teens.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, trollers are working areas of Isleton, up Cache Slough in the shipping channel and West Bank, using Rebels, Bombers, P-Line Angry Eyes, P-Line Predators and shallow-running Yozuris. They’re also catching fish out of the mouth of Steamboat Slough.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, the wind didn’t seem to stop the striper fishing this week. White caps and all, fish were being caught. Trollers are working areas of Isleton, the old Dairy, West Bank and Steamboat Slough, using Rebels, Bombers, P-Line Angry Eyes, P-Line Predators and shallow-running Yozuris.

The Delta: Fishing for stripers is hot and cold right now on the Sacramento River. Trollers are working just about the same areas this week in the Shipping Channel, Long Island to the Ryde Hotel, Clyde Shoals, the old dairy and the West Bank down to Collinsville, using deep-diving Rebels, shallow-running Bombers, P-Line Angry Eyes, P-Line Predators and shallow-running Yozuris. Fish are running from keeper size up to 10 pounds.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, striper trollers are working from Sandy Beach to Collinsville on the West Bank. Most fish run from keeper size to 8 pounds, with an occasional fish in the teens. Anglers are using the usual striper lures; Rebels, Bombers, Yozuris, Angry Eyes and Predators.

The Delta: Salmon fishing is about to bust wide open in the Sacramento River. Water is being released out of Camanche and coming down, which will increase the number of fish.

The Delta: The numbers of salmon are rising daily on the Sacramento River. Most fish are running 20 to 28 pounds with another 30-pounder reported Wednesday. Linda Nixon recently caught a 30-pound salmon while fishing with Wayne Johnson. She was using a silver and chartreuse Silvertron in the Walnut Grove area.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, the salmon fishing is hot right now, especially in the Walnut Grove and Vieira's areas. Most fish are running 15-23 pounds with a 30-pounder reported today.

The Delta: The salmon numbers are picking up daily in the Sacramento River, with good reports from Isleton area. Anglers are fishing the mouth of the Old Sac and Steamboat Slough up to the Ferry and Walnut Grove.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, salmon fishermen are having better luck on the incoming tide. Old Sac all the way up to Walnut Grove seems to be the focus this week. Clint Kammerer's grandson, David, caught an 18-pounder in the Walnut Grove area. Marty Morfey caught a 12-pounder in front of Kokets. The best lures have been all red Silvertrons, White Silvertrons and Silver & Chartreuse.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, salmon anglers are trolling from the mouth of the Old Sac all the way up to Walnut Grove. Most fish are running 10-25 pounds. The best lures have varied from Silvertrons, Blue Foxes and Radical Glow spinners, Kwikfish to Brad's Cut Plugs. A recent limit of salmon came in, weighing 11 and 16 pounds, caught in the Walnut Grove area on a Green Silverton.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, the best areas for salmon have been the Old Sac area and the Long Island area up to Walnut Grove. Sean McClerkin went out of Vieira’s to the Old Sac near the Rio Vista Bridge last Friday afternoon and caught a 28-pound salmon within five minutes of putting his line in the water.

The Delta: There are not a lot of reports of salmon on the Sacramento River yet, but there are a few fish coming from the Old Sac up to Walnut Grove. The best lures have been Silvertrons, Blue Foxes and Radical Glow spinners.

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, several nice salmon were reported coming in at Vieira's, including a 20-pounder.

The Delta: The Sacramento system has slowed down, but some are trolling the West Bank, and inside the Horseshoe along Highway 160, and trolling up river to the Isleton Bridge. The fish are scattered.

The Delta: The Sacramento System has slowed down, but some are trolling the West Bank, catching keeper-size fish at about five pounds. Others are working the Old Dairy up to the mouth of the Old Sac, using shallow running Yo-Zuris and Angry Eyes. In the deeper water, they're using deep diving Rebels, Angry Eyes and YoZuris.
