The TokayTigers, Liberty Ranch Hawks and Galt Warriors all kick off their seasons Friday, Aug. 24 with Week Zero contests, while Lodi and Elliot Christian start 2012 the following week.

In a match of streaks, host Calaveras High erased an early
deficit and built a large lead before holding off a late Tokay
charge in a 42-36 victory on Wednesday night in non-league
wrestling action. The Tigers led 18-6 after four bouts, but the
Redskins won six of the next seven matches to take a 42-24 lead.
Tokay won the final three matches, but it wasn't enough to pull off
the comeback.
