Two seniors with diverse talents, Brittnie Parino and Jon Kendall were named Liberty Ranch High School’s Outstanding Female and Male Athletes, respectively.
Parino earned all-league recognition as a member of the girls basketball team, led the volleyball team as a libero and also swam for the Hawks.
She has done all three sports for the past three seasons, and will study at Sacramento State this fall.
Kendall was a two-sport athlete for the Hawks, rushing for 1,096 yards and nine scores in Liberty Ranch’s powerful backfield before leading the baseball team in hitting (.301 average, 25 hits). He will be playing both at Butte College, and hopes to either be a correctional officer or firefighter.
