Two men accused of murder in the death of a suspected gang member will be arraigned today in San Joaquin County Superior Court. The two men and one other are suspected of killing Danilo Sandoval, 20, of Lodi in March at a Chevron gas station in Thornton.

On April 13, the Lodi Elks Lodge No. 1900 honored all the volunteers and officers who worked throughout the year on projects to enhance the local community. An appreciation dinner was provided by the Elks and hosted by Mike Dugan, outgoing Exalted Ruler. Award presentations were given and one member, Mary Avanti, stood out as the Citizen of the Year.
