Camp Hutchins, a popular daycare center housed at Hutchins Street Square, was granted at least one more year of operation when the Lodi City Council approved a new lease agreement at its meeting Wednesday.
The program was created in the early 1990s and run by the city until Lodi Memorial Hospital took over in 1998, paying a token $1 rental fee per year to use space at the city property.

I attended a meeting recently where a member of the public said they called the police twice to report a disturbance, but no one showed up to handle the call. It sounded far-fetched, and after a few follow-up questions we figured out it was another department, not the Lodi Police Department.

The Board of Directors for the Lodi Unified School District's Giving Opportunities To Kids Foundation would like to thank all of the volunteers and customers who made our Fourth of July fireworks sale such an unbelievable success. This was the first major fundraiser for GOT Kids and we could not have asked for a better outcome.
