Dharma is a spayed female, black and white, DSH cat. Dharma came to PALS with her litter of three kittens and was a very attentive mom, but she’s ready to give them their independence and find a home of her own. After being moved into one of the cat rooms and away from her kittens, Dharma quickly adjusted to her new surroundings and the other cats in the room. Dharma is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. Dharma doesn’t seem to have a whole lot of interest in playing with any of the cat toys; instead, she prefers to curl up in one of the many cat beds or even on the window ledge and take long, restful, naps in the sunshine. If you’re looking for a very mellow and loving young cat, Dharma is the one for you. For more information about Dharma, please call PALS at (209) 224-0354. We have other cats and dogs available for adoption, so stop by the PALS Adoption Center located in Lodi at 1405 W. Kettleman Lane next to the Lodi Animal Shelter. Center hours are Tuesday from 12 noon to 4 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed Sunday and Monday. PALS is a Lodi-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in Lodi by increasing the number of animals adopted, reducing animal suffering and providing the highest level of humane care, thus ultimately reducing the number of surplus companion animals euthanized in the city of Lodi. Visit our link at petfinder.com to view cats and dogs currently available for adoption or our website at www.palslodi.org and find out how you can volunteer and/or foster the many animals waiting for permanent homes.
