The Lodi Flames varsity football team stopped the Tracy Bulldogs’ opening drive with an Anthony Jory interception and took just five plays to score for an early lead. But that would be the Flames’ only lead, as the Bulldogs scored the next 42 points to post a 42-6 win in front of their homecoming crowd during Friday’s league football showdown at Wayne Schneider Stadium.

At least 300 pieces of art will be on display at the Lodi Community Art Center’s 53rd Spring Art Show, which will take place at Robert Mondavi Winery on April 20 and 21. All pieces entered into this juried art show will be available for sale.

Assemblywoman Alyson Huber, D-El Dorado Hills, who recently was
re-elected to California’s 10th Assembly District, raised
$1,296,575 during the campaign filing period that ended Oct. 27.
Huber’s totals overshadowed her opponent, former Lodi mayor Jack
Sieglock, who raised $130,675 during the same period.
