More than 450 Tokay High School seniors draped in purple received their diplomas on Thursday night to mark the end of their high school careers. Principal Erik Sandstrom said several times during the 90-minute ceremony at University of the Pacific how impressed he is with the Class of 2013.

Changing Faces Theater Company is bringing a different kind of performance to Hutchins Street Square: Improvisational comedy. It’s not stand-up, but it is both funny and interactive with the audience.

The Tokay High School Theater is dimly lit, with laughter erupting from the first few rows. Five teenagers are scattered on-stage, frozen, with arms and legs bent akimbo, waiting for a sixth to tell them what to do next.
