The Stockton-Lodi branch of the National League of American Pen
Women recently chose officers for their next year. The luncheon
gathering was held at the home of Janet Schultz, and was preceded
by the group's annual musical program. Love songs and other songs
from World War II were performed by Pianist/Singer, Gene Hanten and
Soloist Jenny Medrano. Members were asked to come in 40s style. A
field trip was taken afterwards to view a mural in the grooming
salon at Sycamore Lane Kennels (at the end of Sargent Road), which
was painted by June Sands, of Ripon.
