Dear T2T: I am kind of thinking about trying one of those pot brownies. I have never tried any type of drugs, but these seem to be pretty safe from what I hear. Do they work? What will it make me feel like? Will I get sick? — Curious Cannabis

The Lodi City Council is pondering banning qualified patients and caregivers from growing medical marijuana outdoors, but still allowing indoor cultivation as long as it is not a public nuisance.

A bartender at California Street Pub was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of selling hydrocodone — similar to Vicodin — and possessing marijuana at the bar, according to Lodi police.

Storefront medical marijuana dispensaries will be banned in
unincorporated areas now that the San Joaquin County Board of
Supervisors has adopted an ordinance banning pot
establishments.
The board adopted the ordinance Tuesday afternoon, after
approving an interim zoning ordinance in April 2010 and extending
it on March 1 of this year. The permanent ordinance will become
effective in 30 days.

Clad in 20-pound bulletproof vests, officers from eight
different law enforcement agencies swept through Lodi on Friday
evening conducting parole and probation searches. The effort
focused on the northern part of San Joaquin County and featured
nine separate teams knocking on doors to make sure subjects weren't
violating conditions of their release. Each team included a
combination of state, federal and local law enforcement
officials.

City Council wants nothing to do with any of them. During a meeting

At first glance, it had all the makings of a major drug bust.
About 40 Lodi police and firefighters raided a commercial warehouse
Tuesday, Sept. 14, and found 30 pot plants worth roughly $4,200,
along with two pounds of what appeared to be crystal
methamphetamine.
