The Lodi Flames varsity girls basketball team looked to be on its way to a victory against the visiting Franklin Yellowjackets on Tuesday in The Inferno at Lodi High School.

the Lodi High girls basketball team is going down to the wire. Jill
Burkhard hit a putback as time expired to lift the Flames to a
thrilling 46-44 comeback win over Chavez on Thursday in Stockton.
The desperately-needed victory ended Lodi's three-game losing
streak and kept the Flames' playoff chances alive.

The Lodi High girls basketball team found out just how bad it
missed senior forward Taylor Sousa on Tuesday night against
visiting Tracy. The Bulldogs countered with a Taylor of their own,
namely forward Taylor Bobbit, who scored 16 of her game-high 20
points in the second half as Tracy knocked off Lodi, 52-41, in a
key San Joaquin Athletic Association battle at The Inferno.

Chavez on Tuesday, Lodi High head coach Cal Krienke expected a
tough Trojans team to show up to face the Flames on Thursday. And
