Reporter Ross Farrow passed along a unique postcard recently: President Obama meeting with B.J. Hill, who trekked through Lodi in 2008.
B.J. Hill discovered a copy of Time Magazine autographed by
President Barack Obama at an eatery in New York City on his way to
Washington, D.C., to see the president. Official White House photos
of Hill with Obama won't be available until at least January.

B.J. Hill, the man who walked through Lodi as part of a
cross-country trip in 2008 to collect messages for the next
president, delivered them personally to President Barack Obama last

for President Barack Obama, has a Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011,
appointment with the chief executive to deliver the messages. Hill
walked through Lodi on March 11, 2008.

Massachusetts native B.J. Hill walked through Lodi back in 2008
and walked across the country to collect advice for the new
president who would take office the following January.

On March 11, B.J. Hill was wearing a T-shirt and shorts as he
walked through the streets of Lodi, embarking on a cross-country
walk. On Saturday, he was bundled up in heavy winter gear as he
finished his journey in Boston.
