The local activist group, Citizens in Action, or CIA, will be throwing another TEA, or Taxed Enough Already, party at 5 p.m. on Sunday at All Veterans Plaza next to Lodi City Hall at 221 W. Pine St.

Lodi Citizens in Action, the local Tea Party association, was formed a year ago Thursday, with eight women gathering and not knowing what direction to go.

It was a slow, slow day at Lodi's polls Tuesday.

There are bleeding heart liberals all over California wringing their collective hands regarding the recent legislation that was passed in Arizona regarding "illegal" immigration.

The local group who started the TEA Parties has absolutely no affiliation with any political party.

Certain people are angry that the U.S. might protect its own borders; which just might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.

After absorbing all the news regarding illegal immigration, I can no longer keep quiet. (By the way, illegal means breaking the law.)
