Galt High’s Haran Piggee and Jordan Elize each won two events in
a tri-meet with Liberty Ranch and Vista del Lago on Wednesday to
help the Warrior boys open up the Sierra Valley Conference track

Galt High's varsity girls cross country team took fourth in the
Sac-Joaquin Subsection Division I Meet in Angels Camp on Saturday
to advance to sections. The top eight teams and top 10 individuals
advanced to sections. The Warriors were led by Lauren Petersen, who
took third overall with a time of 19 minutes, 8 seconds. She was
followed by Sam Walling (21st), Alison Motor (25th), Kelsea Tiapon
(32nd) and Hillary Ainsworth (65th).

Last year, the Lady Flames varsity cross country team became the
first running team in school history to qualify for the CIF state
cross country meet.
