Micke Grove Zoo has been transformed into a holiday wonderland for all ages. Bring the entire family and enjoy twinkling lights, games, crafts, wagon rides and refreshments. Jazz, a giant draft horse from Lodi, will be in Downtown tonight celebrating its first big-screen debut.

as they strained to see a radiantly lit float approach Oak Street

The doors are wide open. Costco customers grab carts and start
streaming into the new Lodi store.
On the left are gleaming 55-inch 3D-capable TVs, and employees
waiting to develop film in one hour. On the right are neatly folded
jeans and workers handing out fliers with coupons.
One customer stares at 30 rotisserie chickens spinning in the
Inferno 3500 and while another stops to pick up a loaf of bread. A
nearby employee describes a free sample as "good as a breakfast
item or by itself."

A summer tradition will start tonight as Lodi residents head
Downtown to pick up fresh produce, grab a beer and listen to music
at the annual Farmers Market.
The free event starts tonight and will run every Thursday from 5
to 9 p.m. until Aug. 25.
The market will be on School Street between Elm and Oak streets.
Starting at 4 p.m., the city will ticket and tow any parked cars on
School Street, said Jaime Watts, executive director of the Downtown
Lodi Business Partnership.
