In the Delta, the water is very high and could be dangerous if
you do not watch carefully for floating and partially submerged
debris. We do have a couple of reports of sturgeon fishing and it
would seem that there are a few fish willing to bite. Dave Douglas
and Wayne Purdy caught an undersized fish and an oversized fish.
(One being 9 feet long on Monday in the area of Collinsville. Both
Sardines are working for both sturgeon and striped bass although
the bite is still very slow and the water is high and muddy, with a
lot of debris in it.
