Fishing with Russ 40-pound striped bass pulled out of the Delta

We still do not have many reports from the Delta, but we did see a picture of a nice, big 40-pound striped bass caught in the light 8 area on the Sacramento River below Decker Island this week.

The young man that caught has not been in this week, but two of his friends showed us the picture. Larry Rayburn of Lodi also caught a keeper-size sturgeon this past week near Chain Island in the lower Sacramento River.
