Bank fishing producing at New Melones

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, striper fishing has slowed down due to the excessive rains, but there were some reports of fish being caught bait fishing Decker Island area to the Sherman Island area. Favored baits are shad, sardines and mudsuckers.

This kind of weather picks up for sturgeon fishing. Best areas would be Light No. 1 No. 2, and the Pittsburg Power Plant all the way down to the Moth Ball Fleet.
