Weekly trout plant at New Melones Lake

The Delta: On the Sacramento River, striper trollers are working from Sandy Beach to Collinsville on the West Bank. Most fish run from keeper size to 8 pounds, with an occasional fish in the teens. Anglers are using the usual striper lures; Rebels, Bombers, Yozuris, Angry Eyes and Predators.

Bait fishermen are working areas from the Rio Vista Bridge all the way down to Sherman Island. Best baits are shad and sardines.
