Below the new, state-of-the-art Golden 1 Center, which officially opens its doors on Tuesday when former Beatles co-founder and legendary musician Paul McCartney arrives in Sacramento for two sold-out concerts at the new arena, is the Sacramento Kings’ new practice facility.

Upon entrance into the facility are two courts split to conduct two scrimmages. Off to one side are cardio machines and the weight room. Upstairs are some of the offices that includes one for Kings General Manager Vlade Divac, who knows a thing or two about the Kings’ winning ways dating back toward the end of the 1990s into the mid-2000s.
