With the Elliot Eagles varsity boys basketball team hanging on to a one-point lead, senior forward Jordan Tiner stepped to the line and calmly drained four free throws in the final 35 seconds to lift the Eagles past Linden, 65-60, in non-league action at Lodi High School on Wednesday.

Tiner finished with 18 points and seven rebounds and made seven of his eight free throws in the final eight minutes. Sophomore guard Adam Gotelli led all scorers with a game-high 24 points, including 15 in the opening quarter.
