The Delta: Winds have been a big factor for the fishermen these past few weeks on the Sacramento River, but when the anglers are out, they are trolling around the Rio Vista Bridge up to the Isleton Bridge. Most fish are running 4-8 pounds with an occasional fish in the teens. The best lures have been Yozuris, Rebels, Bombers, P-Line Angry Eyes and Predators.

Bait fishermen reported too much wind on many days, but on the days they do venture out, they fish from the Rio Vista Bridge down to Sherman Island, using shad, sardines and anchovies.
