The Indians didn't land the last hits, just the biggest ones. In a high-scoring slugfest, the Indians took a five-run lead into the final inning and held off a final furious rally by the Blue Jays to win the AA 9-10 championship 19-17 on Thursday night at Salas Park.

"The kids fought hard, and played hard. They played fundamental baseball. They played well and they deserved to be the champs," said Indians head coach Scott Wattenbarger, whose team hammered out 15 hits.
