For six innings, Lodi Glory pitcher Zach DeValle hung strong and waited for his offense to show up in Friday's Far West League game against the Neptune Beach Pearls.
He'd given up three runs, but the Glory hadn't crossed the plate once. Then Lodi's bats came to life, exploding for 14 runs over the next three innings to lead the Glory to a 14-3 victory in Alameda.
